Last updated: August 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tailgate collects, uses, stores, and shares information in connection with the Tailgate website and marketplace.

Information We Collect

Depending on how a person uses Tailgate, we may collect:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • phone number;
  • host property address;
  • listing descriptions;
  • parking-space capacity and characteristics;
  • game availability;
  • photographs submitted for a listing;
  • arrival or access information;
  • customer vehicle information when reservations are eventually offered;
  • reservation and transaction information once paid bookings are available;
  • communications with Tailgate; and
  • standard technical, diagnostic, security, and usage information generated when the website is accessed.

Host Property Information

Tailgate may collect a host's full property address so that Tailgate can review, administer, and eventually facilitate reservations for a parking listing.

Tailgate generally intends to display only an approximate or generalized location to the public before a confirmed reservation.

An exact parking location may later be provided to a customer when reasonably necessary to complete a confirmed reservation.

Hosts should not include unnecessary personal information in public listing descriptions or photographs.

Payment Information

Paid reservations are not currently available to the general public.

If Tailgate launches paid bookings, payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor.

That provider may collect payment-card, banking, identity, tax, and other information necessary to process transactions, verify users, prevent fraud, make payouts, or comply with law.

Tailgate does not intend to directly store complete credit- or debit-card numbers.

Tailgate may use information to:

  • receive and review host applications;
  • create and manage parking listings;
  • communicate with hosts and customers;
  • verify or clarify submitted information;
  • operate and improve the marketplace;
  • facilitate future reservations;
  • provide parking instructions to confirmed customers when appropriate;
  • process future payments and payouts;
  • provide customer support;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats;
  • enforce platform rules and agreements;
  • investigate disputes and incidents;
  • maintain business records;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • protect Tailgate, its users, and others.

How Information May Be Shared

Tailgate may share information with:

  • hosts or customers when reasonably necessary to facilitate a parking arrangement;
  • vendors and service providers that help operate the website or marketplace;
  • future payment processors;
  • professional advisers;
  • governmental authorities or other parties when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or enforce agreements; and
  • a successor or other party involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, restructuring, or transfer of all or part of the business.

Tailgate does not sell personal information for money.

Service Providers

Tailgate may use third-party infrastructure and technology providers to provide hosting, databases, file storage, communications, analytics, security, maps, and payment-related services.

Those providers may process information on Tailgate's behalf or under their own applicable terms.

Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted, anonymized, or retained as legally permitted.

Security

Tailgate uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information.

However, no website, network, database, or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Users should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through listing descriptions, photos, notes, or other free-text fields.

Your Choices

Users may contact Tailgate to request correction or deletion of certain information, subject to legitimate business, security, legal, and recordkeeping needs.

Where applicable law grants additional privacy rights, Tailgate will respond to qualifying requests as required by law.

Tailgate is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

Hosts and persons entering into reservations must be at least 18 years old.
