Refund Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Tailgate is an online marketplace designed to connect people seeking gameday parking with independent hosts who make parking spaces available.

Pre-Launch Status

Tailgate is currently in a pre-launch phase and is not accepting paid reservations from the general public.

Because Tailgate is not currently collecting payment for parking reservations, there are no customer payments to refund during the pre-launch host-onboarding period.

Before paid bookings are opened, Tailgate may update this Refund Policy to reflect its final checkout, payment, cancellation, and payout procedures.

Customer Cancellations

Once paid reservations become available, any applicable cancellation deadline and refund terms will be disclosed before a customer completes payment.

Customers will be responsible for reviewing the game, date, parking location information, vehicle restrictions, price, fees, and applicable cancellation terms before completing a reservation.

A customer's change of plans, late arrival, traffic conditions, ordinary weather conditions, failure to follow disclosed parking instructions, or use of a vehicle that does not comply with disclosed restrictions will not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Host Cancellations or Unavailable Spaces

Hosts are expected to keep availability accurate and honor confirmed reservations.

If a host cancels a confirmed reservation, cannot provide the reserved parking space, or the parking space is unavailable when the customer arrives through no fault of the customer, Tailgate may provide a full refund of amounts paid through Tailgate for that reservation.

Tailgate may suspend or remove hosts who repeatedly cancel reservations or fail to provide parking as represented.

Materially Inaccurate Listings

If a parking space is materially different from the listing in a way that prevents reasonable use of the reserved space, the customer should notify Tailgate as soon as reasonably possible.

Tailgate may request photographs, communications, or information from the customer and host when reviewing the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, Tailgate may issue a full refund, partial refund, account credit, or no refund.

Event Schedule Changes

Football schedules, kickoff times, road closures, traffic patterns, law-enforcement restrictions, and event conditions may change.

A change in kickoff time by itself does not automatically cancel a parking reservation.

The treatment of reservations affected by a canceled, postponed, relocated, or materially changed event will be determined under the policy and checkout terms in effect when the reservation is made.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method when reasonably possible.

Banks, card issuers, and payment processors may require additional time to make a refund available after Tailgate initiates it.

Payments Made Outside Tailgate

Tailgate's refund process applies only to payments processed through Tailgate's authorized payment system.

Tailgate is not responsible for cash payments, peer-to-peer transfers, side agreements, or other payments made directly between customers and hosts outside Tailgate.

Other Expenses

Except where required by applicable law, a refund of a Tailgate reservation does not make Tailgate responsible for unrelated or consequential expenses such as travel costs, lodging, event tickets, towing charges caused by a user's violation of disclosed parking rules, or other expenses associated with attending an event.

Contact

Questions about refunds or reservations may be submitted through the support contact method provided by Tailgate.
